what to do whilst marking student essays during a locust plague
well the locusts are here and a good essay is hard to find (although you could do worse than dip into best australian essays 2004 companion volume to the excellent best australian stories 2004 edited by frank moorhouse which features a story by wagga's own i.j.oog) and when marking student essays it is a good idea to have something else at hand the same time ...

so to celebrate the release of the new ipods i
experienced another embuggerance with itunes which
set back my ipod project : somehow my itunes library got
corrupted when i tried to synk the emac with the ibook

z9 : a new mac
i took delivery of my new computer the other day - it is a 14 inch g4 ibook with a 1 ghz processor... it has a 60gb hard drive and 640mb ram and so far so very good : the thing looks pretty neat and does everything asked of it faster than any computer i have ever owned

ah who remembers them all? the joh.net blogs that come and the joh.net blogs that go... ephemera ephemeroids and then (now) éphémère : not the beer but the new new joh.net blog - now made experimenting with iblog (worth every rupee - well ... almost!)
(there is nothing wrong with that software that a proper user manual and about 10 billion development hours getting rid of some of those strange little idiosyncrasies couldn't fix but hey... it's cheaper than radio.userland and let's not even mention the evil blogger... oh i have to ... oh ok ... anyway blogger is great ...)
