i.j.oog's the american dream has been included
in best australian stories 2004 edited by frank moorhouse and published by black
inc
according to frank moorhouse it is "a fine story
.... a fascinating and artful use of the story form..." - luminaries such as
amanda lohrey and marion halligan contributed to last year's best australian
stories which was edited by peter
cravenreportedly oog was worried that
perhaps moorhouse was extracting a terrible revenge on australian writers for
the debacle in 2001 (when he was told in error that he had won the victorian
premier's literary awards) by sending them letters telling them they
had been included in best australian stories 2004 only to send them another
letter later saying it wasn't true and ha
ha now you know how i
feltoog has taken the
american dream offline in order to support the publishers of wwww15 (for which
it had previously been accepted) and best australian stories 2004 but everything
